Bebé, Perdón is an ode to heartbreak and broken hearts that seek to regain lost hope in love, with the premise that one can rise again, all told in the artist's incomparable style. Composed by (Thalia, Jimmy Humilde, and Edgar Rodríguez Jimmy Humilde and Thomas Alexander Leavitt, the song narrates the story of what could have been a relationship, in which all the positive aspects were overshadowed by doubts and poor communication. The lyrics include lines like, "No son tu culpa, mis inseguridades. Todo es mi culpa, que no sepa expresarme," (It's not your fault, my insecurities. It's all my fault that I can't express myself) conveying the theme of the song.
The music video for Bebé, Perdón is directed by Eduardo González and produced by GiantWeTrust, transports us to the majestic California desert where, at sunset, Thalía, accompanied by her musicians, tells us this tale of heartbreak that fills with nostalgia as the sun sets and the gentle breeze carries away each of its verses. The exclusive premiere of this music video took place on the screens of MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Flow Latino, and on the screens of Paramount in Times Square.
Bebé, Perdón continues a year filled with successes for Thalía, during which she has managed to connect with multiple generations through her music and docuseries Thalía's Mixtape: El Soundtrack de Mi Vida. Additionally, the artist received the recognition of "Poderosa Global" (Global Powerhouse) award from the prestigious Billboard en Español magazine at the inaugural Mujeres Latinas en la Música" gala. Recently, the artist had the honor of being the special guest of the Consulado General de México in New York for the celebration of Mexican Independence Day, where she was responsible for illuminating the legendary Empire State Building with the colors of the Mexican flag. Furthermore, after the Grito de Independencia (Independence Cry), Thalía surprised the audience by presenting this single in front of more than 18,000 people at the famous Bryant Park in New York City.
