MIAMI (May 29, 2020) – Thalía has always found a way to promote the value of family with different projects throughout her career. This time, the multi-platinum international superstar premieres the second edition of her music collection for kids, Viva Kids Vol. 2, a new album full of excitement, lots of colors, and new music dedicated especially to the little ones. This new record is now available on all digital platforms.
Unlike its first edition, Viva Kids, Vol. 2 is comprised of 15 completely original songs, composed by Thalía herself along with Marcela De La Garza and produced by Armando Ávila. Each song tells encouraging stories with very exciting sounds to accompany all kids in their day-to-day adventures. Thalía manages to create a fantastic universe with this album, complementing each song with a colorful animated music video created by Nico (Nicotronick), where she performs the songs giving all her talent and charisma.
"I have a lot of fun creating music for kids. When I was little, my parents joined me to sing and dance songs that brought me a lot of joy, and that's what I want to convey with this album. As a mother, I know that, in these times of quarantine, it is difficult to keep children motivated, and you always have to reinvent yourself to keep them active. My intention is that families come together, and children can have fun with all the colors and magic that these songs bring. I also thought it was meaningful for me to be able to deliver this project earlier in order to support all mothers in their month," said the singer.
"More than a year ago I started working with my team on developing all facets of the album. And, during these days of social isolation, we got our batteries up and focused, all working from our homes, to finish it as soon as possible," she expressed.
Each story within the album really seeks to inspire and positively impact children. The album features songs like Mi No Cumpleaños (My Non-Birthday), which talks about the joy of celebrating every day of the year as if it was a birthday party; Salto (Jump), which talks about the fun ways to break the nerves; Yo Puedo Sola (I Can Do It Alone), with a motivational message about the meaning of growing up; and Es Un Pedo (It Is A Toot), which is full of jokes and touches an unusual theme in a funny way that will undoubtedly bring a lot of laughter to little kids and big kids alike.
With this album, Thalía found a new interactive way to keep families together. The artist focused on creating a whole world full of excitement, not only with captivating original songs and music videos, but also bringing to life the animated characters that are part of the collection. Now, kids can color their favorite Viva Kids, Vol. 2 characters in the coloring books that are also available for download through the Thalia’s social media.
