MIAMI (February 28, 2020) – Mexico's greatest singer-songwriter romantic duo, Río Roma, and the legendary diva Thalía, are shaking up Latin pop with their new single Lo Siento Mucho, which will delight fans with the defiant chorus that incorporates the popular catchphrase for everyone who has been played by love: "Se te acaba de morir tu pend...".

As Río Roma's co-founder and main songwriter José Luis Roma notes, Río Roma and Thalía have been friends since 2014: "She welcomed me to her house in New York for a writing session, and it was marvelous to meet her. She is a spectacular woman whom I greatly admire and respect." Since then, he has had writing credits on her songs such as Amore Mío, Sólo Parecía Amor, Lo Más Bonito de Ti and Tú Puedes Ser

Turning to the subject matter of Lo Siento Mucho, José Luis adds: "When I have an idea for Thalía, I show it to her and she can immediately tell if it will work or not. Lo Siento Mucho was inspired by a friend who sent a meme to his ex. It was a black ribbon with the caption, 'I’m sorry, your sucker just died'. It caught our attention. I went to get a guitar, and in 20 minutes I had most of the song worked out. In the heat of the moment, I instinctively called Thalía, sang it to her with just a guitar accompaniment, and she loved the idea."

José Luis goes on to note that Thalía did amazing work with this track: "Thalía is the best thing that could have happened to this song. She is a huge artist, loving and generous, a woman with character and strength who gives this song the perfect energy for anyone who has ever needed to tell the bitter truth – that it's over, your sucker is dead." The audio of Lo Siento Mucho is available on all digital platforms. The music video can be enjoyed on YouTube, where Río Roma's recent videos Deberías de Estar Aquí, Mitad Mentira, Mitad Verdad, Yo Te Prefiero a Ti and Algo Especial have a combined 122 million views.

Lo Siento Mucho is to be included on Río Roma's forthcoming studio album. Meanwhile, the duo continues its Rojo Tour, which features the color red as a metaphor for love, passion, danger and resistance. Río Roma recently sold out Mexico City's Auditorio Nacional.
