Lento: Music video, lyrics and credit
This danceable collaboration between the Mexican superstar and the internationally acclaimed Cuban duo incorporates the pan flute and the accordion, and comes complete with its own dance step, along with all the spontaneity that characterizes these talented artists. As the lyrics in Spanish say: "Take hold of me again, there won't be another chance, take it for what it is, start with the feet" (Agárrame otra vez, que no habrá después, dale como es, empieza con los pies).
The members of Gente De Zona – Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom – are co-writers of Lento which will swiftly become a fan favorite.
Filmed in Miami, the music video is directed by Santiago Salviche and Pedro Vázquez, the team behind the popular music video Nos Fuimos Lejos by Descemer Bueno and Enrique Iglesias. Thalía once again takes our breath away with her elegant and stunning wardrobe as the plot leads us to an unplanned encounter on the beach with her handsome bodyguard.
Lento is the second single from Thalía’s forthcoming album Valiente, to be released later this year. The first single, No Me Acuerdo (I Don't Remember) featuring Natti Natasha, has been an international phenomenon, while its official video has surpassed 370 million views.
Thalía is also enjoying the viral success of her hit Me Oyen, Me Escuchan (Can You Hear Me, Am I Coming Through) and her #ThalíaChallenge which have become trending topics on social media in recent weeks.
