Thalía's holiday plans might get even sweeter.

In addition to bonding with family and launching a Macy's holiday collection, the Mexican entertainer, 44, is preparing for a romantic milestone with husband Tommy Mottola, 66.

On Dec. 2, the couple will celebrate their 15-year wedding anniversary – and they want to make it an occasion to remember, the singer told PEOPLE.

"We were talking about another marriage like in a church or something like that," Thalía said at a preview event for her Macy's collection at Hotel Americano in New York City on Tuesday.

She added, "We like to celebrate big."

That won't come as a surprise to anyone who attended the singer and legendary music executive's wedding at St. Patrick's Cathedral in 2000 or their vow renewal ceremony inside the famous N.Y.C. church in 2013.

"We love each other so much," Thalía said of her marriage to Mottola, with whom she has two children, Sabrina, 8, and Matthew, 4.

She continued, "No words can describe [our relationship], and it just gets better with age."

The couple has faced their share of challenging times, though – in 2008, Thalía revealed that she contracted Lyme disease, the mysterious bacterial infection that has also affected singer Avril Lavigne and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster.

Both Thalía and Foster were honored earlier this month at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in N.Y.C., where Foster discussed not just her her struggle with Lyme, but also the diagnosis of two of her children, Bella and Anwar Hadid.

"I think it is phenomenal that she is so open," Thalía said of Foster. "She is taking advantage of the TV show to use it as a platform to create awareness, so that is fantastic."

Thalía explained how her role as a mother is one reason why she speaks out on Lyme disease.

"It is so important to raise awareness, especially when you have kids," she said. "Because when you think about having fun with your family, you think about a picnic and being outside, and the ticks eat your life."

Thalía's focus on quality time with family has also inspired her head-to-toe line for Macy's, which she hopes will make women "feel beautiful and effortless." With animal prints, bright and warm reds and metallic accessories, the line has everything to dress up the season.

As for her holiday party menu, Thalía told PEOPLE she serves lychee martinis and margaritas to her guests. Her mother's recipe for Bacalao, a cod dish with almonds and peppers, is also a go-to favorite in her household.

But what really makes her mouth water is Mottola's Italian dishes, especially his pasta fra diavolo, which features lobster, tomato sauce and garlic. While their daughter Sabrina also enjoys the pasta and pizza, son Matthew sides with his famous mom's Mexican fixtures.

Thalía quipped, "We are that kind of family."
