MIAMI (October 14, 2014) - Award-winning international superstar Thalía premiered the music video for her new hit Por lo Que Reste de Vida on all video portals. This single is part of her studio album, Amore Mío, which will be available on November 17, and will be her first studio production since Habítame Siempre (2012).
Renowned director Carlos Pérez, like his Elastic People team, made this short film. Filming took place on the outskirts of Manhattan in an old residence with a powerful presence.
Written by Ricky Montaner, Por Lo Que Reste de Vida went straight to No. 1 on the iTunes Mexico sales chart in less than 24 hours.
Filming this video and working with Carlos Pérez and his team have been wonderful experiences", says Thalía. "The chemistry on stage was incredible, and I have true admiration and respect for Carlos as a person and an artist."
This short film evokes a story of both eternal and immortal love, of those loves that transcend time and obstacles. Thalía tells this story between two children who grow up together, love each other, and share a special friendship. Over time, their lives take different directions until they reunite... for the rest of their lives.
"This story is timeless and reflects a pure love about two people who are willing to give of themselves, completely, to unconditional love," says Thalía. "I think many couples who are in love and committed to lasting love will relate to this issue."
