With its pre-release alone, desAMORfosis became the #1 album on Amazon for its top sales in the "Latin Pop" and "Latin Music" categories. The captivating album's name is a combination of three words that describe the main stages of romance: "heartbreak", "love" and "metamorphosis". The merging of these words outlines the meaning of love in all its forms and the stirring journey that people face when living it. Starting from the moments of rejection and solitude, to those of emotional and sexual attraction, to the evolution and development of new personal character.
The album has 14 new songs that are interconnected to tell a story, that details the transformation and growth of romance through the feelings represented in the compositions and rhythms of each song. Thalía worked on the production of the album alongside some of today's most innovative producers, including Tainy, Edgar Barrera, Maffio and Trooko. The album is made up of distinct sounds that fuse different genres, from the catchy melodies of Pop ballads to the danceable rhythms of reggaeton and electronic music.
